This week I installed a garbage disposal at some friends' house. I thought this would be good to record and help other people out as well.

It's not hard to do, and you already have the tools. Don't spend a lot of money on a plumber when you can spend one hour of your time instead.

I would like to know how many of you out there have done this type of job yourself? Did you do it differently in any way, or was it pretty much the same as what I did?
